There is no need of fake location anymore

if you already had league pass installed then just remove it and delete all work around you tried

If your on this blog looking for tomtom or older navigon ipa files, location specified versions or anything else please read through older post you might find more stuff you might need..

There is no trick to update from the older version your gonna have do a new install ie. removing older version

In the download link there are a list of files, the bottom one is just the app with no maps... and the other part 1-7 are the maps of all north american areas... If you have the old maps just reuse them because the maps have not been updated just the app...

All you have to do is open the .zip in winrar and add the maps you'd like (you know, the ones you've already extracted from the .rar file I uploaded or the ones you already have). Once done, rename the .zip to .ipa and add it to iTunes or your choice of installation.

or just use link 2 and download the entire app 1.4 gigs and install then remove maps with ssh or whatever you choose..

New things/improvements that I've noticed:
1. Google search under POIs, VERY convenient. I've run into the "can't access Google server" a few times, but usually it just takes a second try to get it working.
2. Now have the option to have music pause during speech function. It's called "audiobook mode." Great if you're listening to a book and don't want the speech to talk over the audiobook.
3. Oft requested written turn by turn list (however, can only be accessed after starting navigation).
4. Ability to "block" your route in measured distances. (not quite sure what the usefulness of this is yet)
5. Not sure if this is new or not, but I've noticed that as you're approaching your destination, a checkered flag will pop up in the area where the next turn arrow usually hangs out. This flag will have a tiny arrow next to it signifying which side of the road your destination is on. I still wish the voice would announce the side of the road as you are approaching your destination instead of doing so only after you've reached it.

Tomtom is set up in a way that it is extremely difficult to update so in order to get the new version one has to download the entire 1.2 version and if you have the older version the remove it and install the newer 1 if not then just install. Needed to install app:

1. appsync (if you plan to use itunes to sync) -- drag and drop into itunes and sync

2. open ssh (if you plan to use ssh) - copy to downloads folder and install

If you have use ifunbox for my previous updates then just do the same thing..

if this is your first time then please watch my older videos and view my older post to download ifunbox or just google it..

Rememeber that installous is a requirement

Wrong signature problem (Navigon)

If you you are getting the wrong signature problem please replace the info.plist file with the 1 at this link

download it there (info.plist)

To do so change the extension of the app from .ipa to a .zip file open it with winzip or winrar

remove the old info.ipa file and add the 1 u just downloaded..

use ifunbox and navigate to the app and delete the old info.ipa file and replace it to the new one...

The smart think to do would be to download the app only link and add the maps you already have since all that was updated was the app and not the maps.. or download the entire new version of the app.. if you have any questions my email address is on the right.. When I updated mine to 1.2, I encountered the GPS signal problem too, but after I did the hard-reboot, everything works perfectly fine again. Hope this helps!

For readers that already know how use torrensts just download the torrent here and skip the first 4 steps. Users that dont know how to use torrents to download follow all steps its very easy trust me.

If you want to remove some of maps that you wont use then use the same steps as navigon and it will work.. For users that does not know how to do so please read my other posts..

Mobile Navigator official app free (no jailbreak this time)

I bought the North American version (thanks for the help the 0 persons that have donated), so i bought the official app (north american verson) and with the way apple set up the app can only be installed on 1 phone so im working a hack for that and i will share the app with everyone as soon as i hack it. Its a big upload so ill be creating torrent so that everyone can have it very easy. If you dont know what a torrent his then dont worry i will be making a video about how to get it. The Good news is that the app will be official and will have updates via appstore and can work on both jailbroken and non jailbroken and also ipod touches with the GPS module so every1 will be happy. This release will be up at about 1PM central time zone.

Option 2
This option allows you to customize Navigon to have just the maps you want. Download the following NAVIGON_NA_nomaps.ipa and any of the maps you need. I would suggest to rename the files with a zip extension. You will want to add the *.map file (not the zip) to the NAVAGON.app folder in the "NAVIGON_NA_nomaps.ipa.zip" file or what ever you renamed it. When you are done rename the file back to an ipa. Then if you have AppSync installed, then add this to iTunes and sync.

remember to unzip map files (it should then be .map extension)

This app is is one of the best apps in terms of navigation without using the internet.
There are two problems, these are that there is no real north american version and to get the Europe version is very expensive. Do not get me wrong this app is very very good and i would say its worth the dollars, but who is willing to buy this app for $139.99 (Europe version).

There is a north American testing version on the internet but the problem is that they did not include the navigation part for north america all you can do is view a stupid demo of your route, even worst this app is 1.6 gigs to download and you need 2.5gig of free space to install on your phone. Wow thats a lot of space and who really needs the entire north american map.

I live in Toronto ON, Canada and i have this app running on my phone with NY map, Quebec map and Ontario map and it took up only 120megs.. Don't believe me just read some more.

What i have done along with a few of my friends from http://www.gpsunderground.com
is to hack both the North American and European Version of the app which i had to buy the European version. Put both apps together and get one small and simple app with all the features working perfect for any country map at a simple 20mbs..

Iphone needs to be jailbroken and have appsync for this app to work

Its very easy to do here are the steps:

download the old itunes 8 here if you havent done the update here

1. Download the app here 3D view not included (20megs)

or app with 3d view here (120megs)

2. Add the app to your iphone (sync with itunes)- works for jailbreak and non jailbreak iphones

and ipods with the external gps extension (all firmwares).

3. Download and install iphone browser here - for PC

or here for mac users

4. Below will be links with a tonnes of maps if you dont see your city the contact me and i will send you the link- download the map(s) you need and save it to your desktop.

5. Run iphone browser (the program you just installed) make sure that your iphone is plugged in

6. Go the the following location +Var-+Mobile-+applications (click the + beside each name)

you will then see a few long names (directories) no need to worry.

now click the plus (+) beside each of the long name under the application folder until u find the NAVIGON app.. it might be close to the bottom maybe the last one..

7. After click NAVIGON.app - you should see a long list of files showing in the window beside it.

8. Now drag and drop the map file or files you downloaded into the box showing the list list of files. wait a few minutes for each map to copy. (status bar at the bottom)..

9.) Close the program- restart phone and your all ready to go...
